Water ( h2o ): Watering requirements for botanicals represented in three groups: Extra ( xtra ), Regular ( reg ), Sparse ( sparse ). Extra: Includes those botanicals which require frequent flooding of their roots, live in aquatic condtions, or tropical environments . Regular: Includes the majority of botanicals which need periodic watering to survive. More than 20" a year, with a seasonal dry season . Sparse: Desert plants, dry side of the mountains particularly at lower elevations. Less than 20" a year. |
